DO NOT use GPS to find this home. Some GPS systems will take you the WRONG WAY! Instead, the easiest and best way is to take Fairway Dr. to Spyglass. Only one way to turn onto Spyglass...to the south. Take first "access road" on the right. It looks like a long driveway. At 20 yards, at the T, take a left. House is the 2nd house on the left. Located in Lake Arrowhead with full lake rights, a custom-built cabin was built for him as his brand new "forever home." Of course, things changed, and he sold the home many years ago. All brand-new high-end carpeting. Brand-new floors on the main. We have a pest control clearance on the driveway & supports, front deck & top back deck. Lower back deck pest control clearance proposal for $4000. Repairs could possibly be accomplished for less. The roof does not leak. However, we have a 2nd layer "go-over" proposal for $9300. That second layer of new roofing is completely allowed by the local Building and Safety Department. For a "tear off & replace", add $2500 (ish). Access to the lowest level with the family room & 1/2 bath is accessed by either going to the left side of the house down some stairs or out the lower level onto the deck & then down a few stairs. Could possibly connect the family room level to the main house via an exterior enclosed stairway through a bedroom. The oversized primary suite has a built-in desk area and can also accommodate a sofa and reading chairs. Primary also has a 2nd rock fireplace. Some folks have expressed that they feel the living room is "too small." The seller did have a full-sized couch, chair & coffee table in that area, and it all fit wonderfully without feeling tight or scrunched. (All rooms are virtually staged.) There are nail holes in the walls from pictures and artwork by the current seller. And, in regard to the road, the seller + 9 neighbors each pay $300 per year for snow removal. If snow season is light, the extra funds go towards maintaining the road surface. And, the home is wired with a whole house portable generator. Some folks in the neighborhood live most of the time.
